What's your sign?

Did you hear the recent reports that the astrological signs were all in the wrong place, and that instead of 12, there should be 13 signs? I watched that report in disbelief. I am a Scorpio, and I thought I was a true blue Scorpio. Whether I like it or not, the personality traits of a Scorpio have always been bang on to my personality traits. But according to the new alignment, I should be a Libra. Or a Virgo. It wasn't clear, as my birthdate was actually the end of one sign, and the beginning of another. Or on the cusp. I felt like I had been punched. Hearing that I might not be a Scorpio after all, left me feeling like I was told I was celebrating my birthday on the wrong day. And, I am so not a cusp kind of person!

Then, Tim Stephans at Astral Reflections (a local astrologer) posted a note about the new signs... http://www.astralreflections.com/index.html

To sum up his note, he states...
"The Minnesota astronomer, who obviously knows nothing about astrology, has confused constellations with Sun signs (a common astronomer mistake) and, perhaps, lunar astrology with sun-sign astrology -- in both these misplaced assumptions, he has left logic far behind. Don't worry, your Sun sign is still where it always was."

*whew* That's a load off of my mind!
