Book review

Wow. Look at me! I finished another book!
The book was "I Remember Nothing" by Nora Ephron.

First -- it's a non-fiction book. That is not something I usually read. I usually find non-fiction kind of dry and boring. This book was neither.

Second -- it's the first book I've read on my Kobo e-reader which I got for Christmas. I wasn't sure I wanted an e-reader for a long time, and because I wasn't sure, I opted for the much cheaper Kobo over Kindle or Sony E-Reader. The Kobo doesn't have all the bells and whistles that the others do, but I didn't want to spend a fortune on something I didn't know I would use. But, I have to say I do like it. I don't think I'll be giving up physical books anytime soon. But, if there is a book that I'm not sure about, and not sure I want to read, or if I'm travelling, the Kobo is going to work great for me.

Third -- So, what did I think? I loved it!
It is a collection of short chapters on varying topics, and apparently is similar to her popular book "I Feel Bad About My Neck". If you don't know who Nora Ephron is, she is the woman who wrote and directed my favourite chick-flick, Sleepless in Seattle. She's also done a lot of other movies and screenplays (You've Got Mail, When Harry met Sally, Julie and Julia, etc). The book was funny, and insightful, and I love the way she looks at everyday things that happen to her. It made me laugh, think, and look at things just a little differently. The only problem with the book, was that it was too short! I liked it so much, I've purchased "I Feel Bad About My Neck" for the Kobo now too, and can't wait to read it.
