Memorial

Grandma's memorial was yesterday, and despite the fact that I wasn't really looking forward to it, I actually had a really good time. It wasn't your typical funeral service, but it would have been exactly what she wanted...

 lots of family and friends,

 very informal, outside in the back-yard at her house,

 

 with lots of food,

 

 and a salmon or two on the BBQ

  

Even Mother Nature co-operated, cooling off the high temps that we had the day before, clouding over just a bit, and giving us a nice cool breeze. Yup... Grandma would have loved to have been there
