Rain, Rain, don't go away!

Yesterday, we have gone 22 days without any rain. On one hand, it's been nice. After the long wet cold winter and spring, we now have lots of sunshine and dry weather. But, on the other hand, my garden really needs a good watering, and I'm starting to feel a little parched myself. This is Vancouver after all. It's supposed to rain!
Today, we got a few sprinkles over some parts of the region. But not enough to put out all the forest fires across the province. And not enough to really make a difference to my garden. And the long range forecast is for more of the same for weeks to come.
