all organized now

The china set in the cabinet is Lavender Rose, by Royal Albert. I had collected a few pieces over the years when I was single, but never really got much of it. But, I always liked the pattern. Then, one day 2 summers ago, A and I were perusing garage sales, and I came across an estate sale where they were selling a bunch of this china. Coffee pot, tea pot, coffee cups, tea cups with saucers, lunch plates, side plates, salt and pepper, 4 serving trays, and a few other misc pieces. All in great condition. And all for $160. I couldn't believe the price (you would pay that price for one tea pot!!!). We didn't have $160 in cash on us at the time, so we gave the woman our last $10 and told her we would be back. We drove to the bank machine, withdrew the money, and made off with (what I consider to be) the bargain of the century.
The pattern looks lovely in my new cabinet, doesn't it?

Wow! THAT wasn't a deal - it was a steal. And the china looks great in your new cabinet.
