great intentions

I was re-reading my post about what I was going to do this weekend, and realized that I did NOTHING that I wanted to do!! Funny, how you expect to be able to do certain things, then life just changes direction. I did not get to read much. It did rain, but not all weekend. I didn't get down to see Grandma (but that's ok, because my sister and her crew went down to visit her). I didn't do any scrapbooking.

So, what did I do?
Well, we did go to the BBQ on Sunday. Which means, I spent the morning making a casserole dish for the BBQ. I went shopping twice...once for groceries, and once for craft stuff. There was a Star Trek movie marathon on SPACE channel this weekend. The 'Kirk' movies (1 through 6) were on Saturday, and the 'Picard' movies (7 through 10) were on Sunday. And, there was a House Hunters International marathon on HGTV on Monday. So, I started a new cross-stitch pattern, and spent a lot of time working on it, watching TV. I got a bit of the house cleaned up this weekend too. And, I chased a racoon out of the backyard with the super-soaker at 5:00 in the morning, because he was chewing up our outdoor carpet.

All in all, a great, mostly quiet, relaxed weekend.
