Christmas mayhem

3 days in Victoria for work. Good trip. Didn't see the inside of the hotel room much (which is likely a good thing), but saw the inside of the hotel bar more than normal (sounded like a good thing, but was actually kind of a bad thing... I'm not used to drinking!!). Met the new boss. I think he's going to work out. Ate out too much. Drank too much. Came home utterly exhausted!

Meanwhile... here are some pics of the tree. We decorated the night before I left for the Island. Last night, "A" wrapped all my gifts. And today, I wrapped a bunch more. I still have some to do, but I think the tree looks better with gifts all around it.

And then today, with presents!

I got home from the Island on Friday, and can't believe it's Monday already! We've been going non-stop since I got home, and out late every night, and drinking more than I usually do. We had dinner out on Saturday, and even spent a few hours at the mall on Sunday morning! My TODO list is getting done, but I'll be glad later this week when I get some time to just relax before the Christmas festivities start. Thank goodness I'm on vacation. I don't know what I would do if I had to work this week!

Oh.. and PS -- this post was not written on my laptop! I haven't even plugged in the laptop since I've been home. The upgrade wiped out all my network connections, and programs. I spent the better part of Thurs afternoon, and Friday morning, getting all my work stuff reinstalled and updated. Now, I need to do the personal stuff.... like reinstalling my camera, printer, scanner, etc. etc. I decided I have enough to do, so I'm blogging from A's computer today.
