food!

Last night, we got the cooking bug (him) and the baking bug (me). He decided to make fish cakes for dinner from the left over salmon we had for dinner the other night. Apparently, he doesn't really follow a recipe, he just makes it up as he goes. And, it was the first time he's made fish cakes for me. But, it won't be the last. I enjoyed them so much, I'll be asking him to make them for me again.

Meanwhile, without trying to trip over each other in our small kitchen, I whipped up a batch of Banana muffins. It started out as just being banana bread. But, he suggested I make muffins instead. And, oh, did they turn out good!

I was supposed to go to Victoria today, but they got a big snow storm over there, so my trip was cancelled *woohoo*!! Now, I get to stay home, and chow down on the last remaining fish cake, and have a banana muffin for dessert!
