It's Monday again, and time for Project 52 updates. My, how the week's fly by!

It was a very busy day at work today... that's why the late post. But, here's my update for this week. You can tell I'm feeling better, because I got something accomplished this week :-)
1) Try two new recipes every month (4/24)
This time it was "Braised Chicken and Potatoes" from the Feb 2011 Canadian Living Magazine also found online... click here
Basically, it was a slow cooker recipe with chicken and potatoes and carrots and celery flavoured with marjoram and rosemary. It turned out great! Definitely a 'make it again' recipe. And because it was a slow cooker recipe, it was easy!
3) At least once a month, reach out to a friend I haven't talked to in a long time (2/12)
This week, I emailed my old boss. It was his birthday on the 17th, and my girlfriend and I decided to take the old boss out for lunch. I haven't seen him in like 2 years, so it was nice to reach out and ask him to join us. Of course, he jumped at the chance to have lunch with us.... which brings me to the next item on my list...
39) Go out for lunch with someone once a month (2/12)
We went for dim sum today. It was yummy! and we had a really good time.
