L is for LOTTO fever – We have tickets for the big lotto draw tonight. It’s 50 million, and there are additional 1 million dollar prizes too. I’m keeping my fingers and toes crossed. I don’t want a large amount. Just enough to pay off the mortgage, buy hubby a new truck, and be able to quit my job. Ok... maybe 50 million will do!
I is for ICK – I saw a kid yesterday munching down on an apple. Now, for most, that is not a big deal. But, for whatever reason, I don’t like apples. Not to eat anyways. But (here is the really odd part), I love applesauce. I like apple pie. I like apple crisp. I like those apple walnut scones that you get at Cob’s Bread. (Well, you can only get them at some of the Cob’s Bread places because they have nuts in them, and a lot of places won’t make them because they want to keep their bakery’s nut free.) But, I don’t like apples. Just regular apples. It’s a rare occasion for me to pick up an apple and just eat it. ICK! I can stomach it if you peel it, take out the core, and cut it up into pieces. But, I can’t just bite into one. I wonder if there is some childhood memory buried deep in my brain where I was biting into an apple, and found a worm, or lost a tooth, or something ICKY like that?
S is for SICK – I’m finally starting to feel better, after being sick for the better part of 2 weeks. It was a tough flu to get over. Just when I thought I was feeling better, the next day I would wake up feeling worse again. I’m really glad it’s over now, and I can get back into life.
T is for TIME – I’m finding it hard lately to spend the time I used to reading blogs, and making up posts for my blog. Maybe it’s because I’ve been sick. Or maybe it’s because work has been really busy lately. But, I just don’t seem to find the time that I used to spend working on my blog, or reading and commenting on other’s blogs. I was hoping to revamp my blog this year, and change up the template, and move things around, and find new cool gadgets to add to it. Although now that I think about it, it just seems like a lot of work and a lot of time. So, I’ll just keep things as is for now, and maybe later in the year I will get inspired.

You were always picking up apples from under the tree and eating them when you were a kid...maybe you ate too many or you just decided that the apple pies, cakes and crisps tasted better! Don't change your blog. My credit cards are not only changing to the microchip and pin system, but changing the points or perks they offer. It's driving me crazy...don't think I can handle another change!!!
