wacky weather predictions

Last week, I was supposed to go to Victoria. I didn’t want to go. On the way to the ferry, I heard on the radio that it was snowing in Victoria, and that the police were asking people to stay off the roads. I called my boss, and he told me to turn around and come home. *yeah*

This week, I was supposed to go to Victoria. I didn’t want to go. When I woke up that morning, there was a big wind storm, and the news said that all the ferries were cancelled. I got to stay home. *yeah*

Yesterday, I asked hubby to BBQ some chicken for me. So, he went outside, lit the BBQ and put the chicken on. A few moments later, a bright light bounced across the sky, and the sound of thunder shook the house. I went to window to watch as a big black thunder cloud passed overhead. Thunder, lightning, hail, and a downpour of rain. I looked over at hubby who was back inside, now bundling up in his winter jacket, and hoodie. “Excuse me, while I go BBQ some chicken!”, he said, as he headed back outside into the mayhem to finish dinner. I felt bad. I didn't want him to be outside BBQing chicken with hail bouncing off his head. But, we hadn't had the BBQ on all winter, and I was really craving some BBQd chicken! So I turned my thoughts to sunny skies and warm breezes. Shortly after, the storm passed, and this appeared…

I guess Mother Nature is just looking out for me!
By the way, the chicken was finger-licking good!!
