In 2008, one of our house plants decided to spurt a pink and purplish kind of flower (for lack of a better term to call that thing). It wasn't the prettiest thing. It was actually kind of odd looking. I wrote about it

It's been 4 years since the last encounter. I wonder if this is what I can expect now every 4 years or so??
