Backup time

What do you do when your laptop suddenly stops working, goes blank, and shuts off for no reason what so ever? You unplug everything, you close it up, you say a little prayer, and then you reboot. When it comes back up (like nothing happened) you do a backup of all your important files.
I needed to do a backup, as I haven't done one for almost a year now. So, I'll just convince myself this was a good thing.
