Work Vignette

Wanna see where I work?

I have the priviledge of working from home. And we have converted one of the bedrooms in our house into our office. So, I thought I would post pictures of my office 'vignette' for Vignette Fridays. Now, technically, it's not really a 'vignette', is it? I mean, it's not something I purposely decorate. So, I was uncertain whether to post this or not. Then, guess what?! I logged into Color Outside the Lines (the Host of Vignette Fridays) and he posted pictures of his office too! So, here goes...

This is my view every day. And, yes...it's usually this organized. I don't like a messy desk, and usually have all my papers organized so I don't forget anything. Did you notice the 2 keyboards? The black one is one the pull out tray, and is connected to my laptop... the white one is connected to A's computer. I just push his keyboard off to the side during the day, and use mine.

The flowers are from the bouquet that I got for our anniversary. Note my favourite pumpkin mug! The pencil holder has a digital display with the date, time, and temp on it. I got that from the company... it was a promotional gift given to us when we attended a conference in Barcelona in 2005. It travelled a long way in my bag to make it to my desk!

The green leaf dish has some candy in it. I have a red one, and a brown one too. They are the perfect little dishes for fall time. The coasters are fabric coasters that I picked up at a craft fair last year. It's quite decadent using fabric coasters! But, they work great. And when they get dirty, you just splash them around in some soapy water, rinse, and leave flat to dry, and they are good as new.
