Eurocup

With our recent TV/Cable upgrades, and the EuroCup playing in France, we've been watching a lot more TSN and soccer games in HD than I care to admit to.

Superbowl 50

The Superbowl is now as old as I am. It turned 50 today.
We spent the day at my parents with the family watching the game on their 72 inch big screen TV (in HD). Although, the game was somewhat boring. Lady Gaga sang the national anthem, and Beyoncé, Cold Play, and Bruno Mars rocked the half time show. It wasn't the best game (or half time show) I've seen, but it was fun being around family.

Monday Blues

Last night, the Canucks lost. They are now down 3 games to 0. One loss away from elimination from the Stanley Cup Finals. Between that and the rain today, it was kind of a blue day.
On the up side, I got to leave work on time tonight (first time this month --Yeah!) Traffic wasn't too bad. And the wind blew the clouds away this afternoon, so it was sunny. AND... rumours are that Daniel Sedin (who's been out with a concussion) is flying down to LA for the next game. Maybe too little too late, but there is a glimmer of hope... It's faint, but it's there.
